Help!
We are in the eye of migrating from Exchange 2010 SP3 to Exchange 2013 SP1 and we are beingness plagued with HTTP 500 errors on every Exchange 2013 server now.
I have two Client Access servers installed (EXCHFE01 & EXCHFE02) and one backend mailbox server (EXCHMB03) with the Client Access role also installed (for troubleshooting purposes). Once I get everything working I'll install two backend 2013 servers with the mailbox part only for production (load-balanced, clustered, etc). I still take two Exchange 2010 mailbox servers left since one has a single large mailbox left on information technology and the other hosts public folders. I'll get to migrating those later on. All Exchange 2013 servers are running Windows Server 2012. All are on the same LAN and no firewalls are between them.
On all three 2013 servers (EXCHFE01, EXCHFE02, EXCHMB03) I'm getting the dreaded HTTP 500 error whether I try to get to OWA or ECP. This did work at one point where I could at to the lowest degree login to the mailbox server (EXCHMB03) and drift all my mailboxes over to it. Former this morning subsequently the two Customer Admission servers were installed the mailbox server stopped working (HTTP 500 errors). This is very frustrating considering I tin can't even login to a console to manage Exchange from any server at this point.
Both Client Admission servers aren't actually showing anything of value in the event logs or the IIS logs. The mailbox server (EXCHMB03) does testify the following event 3002:

I've tried all sorts of recommended fixes but none have worked so far:
- ADSIEdit and remove msExchCanaryData0 data
- Reinstall Exchange multiple times
- Rebooted multiple times

Exchange 2013 - Quota notifications problem

While our customer was still on Substitution 2010 they were the victims of this issue:

Now we have migrated those mailboxes to Exchange 2013 and again, users are not receiving quota notification e-mails. Only a few users receive quota notifications eastward-mails and those are users that got their mailbox created on the new Commutation 2013 system. Migrated users practice not receive notifications. We have tried CheckWarningQuota on Exchange 2013 only it does nothing. Our theory is that mailbox flag introduced in Exchange 2010 SP1 is migrated with the mailboxes to Commutation 2013 and is the reason why we are not receiving quota notifications again.
I appreciate thoughts and comments.

Need aid regarding the location of Substitution 2013 Logs for parsing
Hi, I am trying to create reports based on the logs that are created on my commutation server. I am usingsubstitution 2013. My problem is that I cannot handle every log, and instead want specific types of logs.
I need assistance finding the specific locations of the following types of logs (If they even be), and then that I can parse them and use them finer:
- Audit Logs (Mailbox logons, Mailbox permission changes, Mailbox holding changes, Exchange store changes)
- Mail Report Logs (Mailbox size and growth, Mailbox storage growth, Enabled users, Expired and Soon-to-Expire Mailboxes)
- Exchange Traffic Reports (Details on size and amount of messages sent and recieved, Net traffic [to and from], Traffic between substitution users)
I empathise this might sound similar a huge undertaking, only any help that can be provided would be appreciated.
Again, I need information on the locations of these types of logs on the exchange server, then that I tin can parse them. Collecting them all and searching through them is not practical for my available resources.

Room Finder is non working - neither Online nor Cached Mode
Hello anybody,
since the migration to exchange we have problems with the room finder.
Infrastructure is 2 Substitution 2013 SP1 in a DAG. DNS Round-Robin.
We created a room lists (distribution list not security) for each branch office that has coming together rooms.
Each room listing has at least iii coming together rooms.
Room finder does not select betwixt the list and shows "none". This happens in Cached mode or Online mode. When nosotros work with OWA (which nosotros usally deactivate) you tin can select the list and then the complimentary rooms.
Gratis Busy is working. When i use the scheduling assistant and add all rooms i tin see the the infomations for all rooms.
Can anyone help with troubleshooting ?

Cannot delete Public Binder that is flagged as Hold for Migration
I am attempting to remove a public folder mailbox per this KB article

Presently in that location is one Public Folder mailbox that is held for migration. I decided non to migrate any public folders over because nosotros want to structure it differently. So I demand to remove the mailbox soon there flagged as held. This is a secondary hierarchy mailbox. At that place is no main.

I receive
Public binder replication has been delayed. Please look until replication is consummate before you remove this public folder mailbox. Replication could take up to an hour. If you remove the mailbox before replication is complete, your public folder deployment could exist in an inconsistent state.
I have been unable to find a workaround for this.

I got a trouble in my Substitution Server 2013 environment. I cannot create new mailbox (new user) from ECP. Just I can create new mailbox and choose existing user.

RBAC to create mailbox
Hi all,
I want to create new part group (RG) for my Branch Administrator so they can create user + mailbox but they must not change the policy quota size.
I already create the RG in my production server then I assigned Mail service Recipientsand Mail service Recipient Creation, but somehow when create mailbox information technology said access denied. But I can create user from ADUC and enable mailbox (use existing user) from ECP.
I'm using Exchange 2013 SP1. I endeavor on my lab, it works, what could probably wrong in my production server ?

Unable to assign Send As permissions.
Hello,
I am unable to assign Send Every bit permissions in Exchange Admin Center or through the Commutation Management Shell. Both produce the aforementioned error bulletin: Active Directory functioning failed on server.domain.Local. This fault is non retriable. Boosted information: Access is denied. Active directory response: 00000005: SecErr: DSID-031521E1, trouble 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0
I found other posts about the aforementioned event and a resolution of adding the permissions through ADUC which worked but if the option is in the EAC, shouldn't it piece of work there? This seems like a bug?

We added some user accounts to the 'Recipient Management' group and noticed that these accounts are non able to connect mailboxes by using the ECP in Exchange 2013. The dialog box that pops upward merely stays white.
Which RBAC management office is needed to use the Connect-Mailbox cmdlet?

I am planning a multi-domain exchange deployment...where I am hosting my main electronic mail on site with a domain of company.com and I desire to host 1.company.com and ii.company.com on my role 365 Exchange online implementation. To do this do I have to define the new domains on my current exchange server then setup the users on office 365?
one of the things that my user base wants is unmarried sign on just they won't be using rich clients. I know this works well for rich clients, but can single sign on too sign on to Role 365 web and i bulldoze?
I will exist implementing ADFS and DIrSync for AD replication and ADFS for unmarried sign on.

We take an Exchange 2013 server running behind a proxy. This causes the FIPFS outcome 6027, saying it's unable to download whatsoever antimalware updates.
My question: Is it possible to make Exchange proxy-aware, for instance past setting the system proxy? If not, how can I download the updates manually to an alternate path?

All other menus and tabs work fine.

Configuring Exchange 2013 resources so that Outlook 2013 clients can only request to schedule a meeting
Hello,
We have a regular end user - not an exchange admin or anything fancy. They are not a delegate of the room in outlook. They don't have send on behalf or full access in ECP for the room. However for some reason the room accepts meetings this person schedules while people with Outlook 2007 don't seem to have the aforementioned level of admission. We would like to brand it then their only option is to request to schedule a coming together in that room - non actually create a meeting in that room.
Cannot motion mailboxes betwixt Commutation 2013 Databases. I also can movement mailboxes from my exchange 2010 Database to the Exchange 2013 server
I Cannot move whatsoever mailboxes between Databases or between the exchange 2010 and substitution 2013 server.

In a maintance window I dismounted the database, checked the database clean status and and so deleted, not copied or movied, the folder content.
Then I noticied in that location was not file inside the binder, even the EDB file....yes, very dumb.
I went to Recycle Bin and verified the logs were there except the EDB file, that had 115 GB.
My question is:
- the Windows server 2012 Recycle Bin doesn´t store that size and then my EDB file was deleted for e'er?
- if the reply is yes, can I use whatsoever recovery deleted file software to rescue the EDB?
